Walter Kammermann (born 6 December 1931) is regarded as one of the most renowned and successful athletes in Swiss track and field during the mid-20th century. He achieved his greatest successes as a 3000m steeplechase runner for TV Unterstrass Zurich. Between 1957 and 1965, he claimed the Swiss championship title in this discipline nine times, setting several national records along the way. In 1960, he competed in the XVII Olympic Games in Rome.

His extensive estate of sport medals and badges includes: the participant medal from the 1960 Rome Olympics, a medal from the 1958 European Championships in Stockholm, a medal from the 1963 international competition in Athens, two participant medals from the 1976 Montreal Olympics, and several Swiss championship medals dating back to 1957.
